For background information, I am an experienced automotive technician and have worked in this field since 2001. I took my 2016 Tacoma to Reliable Toyota for an engine oil leak that they diagnosed as the front timing cover and the rear main seal; $6614.16 was the quote and I gave them the “ok” on 7/25/24 7/31/24, I picked up my truck and while driving home heard what sounded like a power steering pump whine from the A/C. I have not had any issues that I know of with the actual services performed. However, I was completely dissatisfied with an encounter I had and will not be going there for service any longer. Once I had them message me about changing the air filter which was accompanied by a picture of a dirty air filter in need of replacement. By the time I responded they had already finished up so I said not to worry about it. I looked up the part number on the air filter in the photo they provided and ordered it. Took an hour and a half for a tire rotation and oil change that I had a scheduled appointment for.
Oil change on 11/14/24 I'm disappointed Chloe was no longer there, but John was great to get me in & out promptly, even had my car brought around while I made payment - as I didn't feel. I gave 4 stars because when they had it in the shop, someone changed my settings on the steering wheel (digital speedometer; mpg; tire pressure; etc.). John says he'll fix it, but I need to now take it back in to him, for that! If they move the settings, they should PUT THEM BACK AS THEY FOUND THEM! Still 5 stars!
