I had a great experience with Renter's Warehouse for getting a tenant placed and managed. The issues started when my tenant moved out and the Turns/ Maintenance department came into the picture. The Turns team first reached out one day after my tenant moved out. I asked for more details on the process since this was my first time having a tenant move out with Renter's Warehouse. Leaving this review as a homeowner. Short version is working with them had been extremely costly and borderline fraudulent. Here's some examples from just my most recent transaction -- a tenant broke their lease and moved out early. I have a tenant placement warranty yet they still are charging me the one month tenant placement fee, and mysteriously threw an extra thousand dollars into the cost of the placement fee. If I could leave zero stars I would. Filled out an application. They gladly took my $25. I took a hit in my credit report. Despite having no criminal record, an above 700 credit score, and proof of income, and being retired at age 55. I never heard back from the agent. After contacting her she told me it’s the owner’s decision and her only means of contacting the owners is via email. Over a month later and the place still sits empty. I’ve worked with seven different property management companies in my life — and not one of them even comes close to how poorly this one operates. Not to mention the unapologetic breaches of contract throughout the term of the lease from both them and the landlord. -Communication is abysmal.
