First, his assist, Jay, was very pleasant and personable---very friendly woman. Dr. McLean presents as very calm, level-headed and smart. Dr. McLean took his time with me, was very thorough. I felt heard and was not rushed out the door. Dr. McLean seems to genuinely care about my well-being. Together we came up with a plan to address my issues (unlike just being told). Dr. McLean has the best bedside manners in that he really listens to his patient to try to understand a root cause of the problems. He goes beyond his line of work and makes the best recommendations in order to get the best outcome. The best thing above all is that he really cares and just give you that one on one time without you feeling rushed.

Dr. McLean is SUPER INFORMATIVE! I usually have several questions and leave with little to NO confidence in the care plan suggested by other specialists. Today was different. I left smiling and feeling empowered. Dr. McLean educates and offers solutions for long term, not just a temporary BAND AID. He also review my history PRIOR to coming into the room and was familiar with my medical records.

Performed 2 Colonoscopy and both failed. Not once did the doctor suggest I come in for a consult. As I have 5 cm hiatal hernia Single clean-based Cameron's ulcer within the hiatal hernia, 6 mm in diameter. Not once has the hiatal hernia been addressed as it is in my file. Last colonoscopy, I was upset it failed, he stated 'I have to go, I have other patients to see. That was it for me!
