Stayed at the masquerade tower which it’s the oldest part of hotel. At a glance all looks good, clean rooms, very spacious, large bathroom and living area. The view is still good as you get side city view. However, once you start using amenities you start spotting issues, the faucets are faulty, the shower warm water takes three days to warm up, the plumbing is stuffed up water gets backed up, some stains in bed, and dirty couches. While some items are out of control bc of guests it’s important to upkeep furniture.
My stay at the Rio in Las Vegas was a nightmare from start to finish. Check-in is advertised as 4 p.m., but my room wasn’t ready until 6 p.m. The kiosks and app kept telling me the room wasn’t ready, while the line at the front desk seemed endless. At 8 a.m., a fire alarm went off, and I had to evacuate using the stairs. I received no explanation or clear instructions about what was happening or what to do next. Overall clean and lots of food 😋 options. Food court is great and they have high end restaurants and Starbucks. The market on-site is way over priced. $100 of a barhsuite top and $100 for the bottoms. Walking to the strip you have to walk through an overpass enclosure and the unfocused are sleeping or hanging out in there and it is a long walk with only one way in and one way out. The walk is long, dirty, smelly and unsafe. They have a fun area where they have couches and a huge screen for music and even live ban... read more
Had a nice little getaway here! The room was spacious and clean. The TV wouldn't cast like it should have but thats ok, we didnt want to sit and watch TV anyways. Check in was at a kiosk, so not a lot of interaction. I only wish the room had a coffee maker, but thats Vegas for ya.
My review might be pretty swayed by the price I paid ($200 for 2 nights) but I'm pretty happy with it. I got a single king room for 2 nights on a travel site for a killer deal. It's in the masquerade tower. The room is incredibly large for what I paid, but it is pretty barren. Don't mind that though, it's got everything I need. It's clean. A little old, but clean. And no smell. (The AC also works great.) Parking was incredibly easy. Found a spot within a minute of entering the parking lot, + it's free. Takes me less than... read more
