Kimberly Higgs, the nurse practitioner, was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed during my appointment, and all of my questions were answered thoughtfully and clearly. I really appreciated the follow-up after my appointment. It showed genuine care and attention to my health, which can be hard to find.
Dr. Gupta is always attentive and gives great care at every appointment. He listens to your concerns and always has a good plan to address and improve your health. It’s easy to schedule an appointment and I highly recommend his entire care team including the Nurses, NP’s, PA’s.
I went in for fever and coughing. Staff took vitals gave me 2 cough medicines said they were going to run tests. No test done. I was sent for exrays. Have not received communication about exray results. No type of diagnosis was given. I was told to call if I need more help. My wife has called about exray results and has not received reply.
All of the staff at Riverwood Medical in Bastrop are very nice and accommodating. The waiting area is a bit small for the number of patients seeking care, so privacy when completing medical forms and transactions is somewhat limited. Treatment rooms are private. Overall I am very pleased with the clinic. I visited with Nurse Practitioner Mireya Adame who seems quite competent and committed to providing good medical care to her patients.
They don’t like to hear u speak in ur appointments . Had a nurse practitioner first come in and she never looked up at me until I commented I would wait till she was done on her computer. They lack necessary communication among each other and especially with the patient. Zero accountability. Expressed my concerns with the office supervisor and then with Dr; Dr Gupta was offended that I would call for biopsy results rather than just wait like he “told me”!
