This was the first time that I have been seen by Riverwood Medical Clinic. I called to arrange to become a patient and to schedule a telemed appointment with my nurse practitioner who just started working for Riverwood. The office staff made it very easy to fill out all my papers online and we're very polite when I called for appointment. Of course my appointment with my nurse practitioner, Bea Smith NP, was wonderful as usual. I got all my questions answered and we accomplished a lot.
All of the staff at Riverwood Medical in Bastrop are very nice and accommodating. The waiting area is a bit small for the number of patients seeking care, so privacy when completing medical forms and transactions is somewhat limited. Treatment rooms are private. Overall I am very pleased with the clinic. I visited with Nurse Practitioner Mireya Adame who seems quite competent and committed to providing good medical care to her patients.
My appt. Was at2:15 and I wasn’t seen until 3:20. What an incredible waste of time. I was being seen for the results of an MRI. The referral they issued was wrong so I needed another referral. I have lost a lot of time and still have no idea what is causing this lump in my leg. The MRI was ordered in error. It could not show them what the lump in my leg was and any details. Now, I am waiting for another referral for a bone surgeon. We will see how this next step goes…
I have been going to Riverwood for at least 10 years. All of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable in their field of expertise. When I don’t see Dr. Gupta I see either of the NP’s, Kim is who I’ve seen the most recently. I’m able to ask all my questions and get answers. I enjoy the pleasant atmosphere at the office. I would recommend them to my family and friends.
I absolutely love my provider Bea Smith, and I love the entire organization! Dr. Gupta runs a wonderful, tight ship, and being in the industry, I have great appreciation for that! I am blessed to be under their care, and in fact my mom and husband are as well! N.P. Kim was also very THANK YOU!!!
