Dr. Gamarra was very personable, explained the procedure well, left plenty of time for questions. Nothing rushed. My only regrets was that I could not think of any good jokes because I'm sure he has heard them all for these type of procedures... But seriously, as routine as things may be, he seemed to treat you like you were important and not just the next job on his list.
Dr. Gamarra greatly eased my mind about the procedure that he planned to perform on me. He is very kind and thoroughly professional. I would not hesitate to request him again.

Dr. Gamarra was very attentive. Our oncologist chose him and we were pleasantly surprised to find we felt comfortable and relaxed upon meeting him. He is humble, is a good and patient listener, ensured we understood everything he explained and went over prior to my wife's endoscopy procedure. And the way he addressed his findings and impression post-endoscopy was impressive. My mother has been with Dr. Gamarra for nearly five years now. I love his professionalism, excellent bedside manner, and the fact that he's done so much for her. I recommend Dr. Gamarra to everyone with GI issues, but if you're suffering from difficult-to-treat inflammatory bowel disease, he is your go-to doctor.
He really listens. So glad to finally find a good gastro doc.
