Lead lifeguard was very rude and insulting to me. In my experience, the therapy pool closes abruptly and unannounced on a fairly routine basis. They always blame it on a lifeguard shortage. For me, it all came to a head when this lead lifeguard told me to get out of the pool in the middle of my workout. Why? Lifeguard shortage! I complained to corporate. Great staff always nice and helpful, a great array of workout equipment that will keep you busy and help your health, very clean, it’s full of great energy and great personal training, glad I signed up here also, my health is improving through this place, I would highly recommend this for anyone, pool is nice and clean, very friendly environment. Look forward to going every time.

Nothing bad that I can say about this place, I absolutely love it. I wish that the daycare center did stay open a little later than 12 p.m. for those late-afternoon early-evening workout junkies that need childcare while they get a workout in. That is absolutely lovely here, the family swim area reminds me of a mini resort for kids. They really took the scales when it comes to offering an amazing gym experience at the YMCA, MY MEDICAL PAYS FOR IT BUT EVEN IF MY MEDICAL DIDN'T PAY FOR IT I WOULD PAY FOR IT MYSELF.

I personally only use the pools. I do not do any exercises upstairs or join any of the sessions you have for exercise, but I certainly enjoy the pool, especially I use the therapy pool. I do my own little exercising in there and afterwords, I treat myself to a dip in to the hot tub, followed by a nice hot shower, I am glad to be part of the Rocky Run family, I travel from Wilmington even though there are facilities near me I still prefer to go to Rocky Run!

I really love coming to the Rocky Run YMCA! There is sooo much to do....plenty of classes, equipment and weights etc. Thank You to ALL the wonderful Trainers that was apart of the Livestrong Program who helped get my strength and motivation back....their encouragement was everything! I will continue to keep up the great work!
