This facility is one of the best in the area! Most staff are well trained and a simple in-service would benefit some of the staff in regards to improved costumer services skills. Maya, who is often at the front desk did step aside to listen to my grievances very professionally, unlike the GM. I hope to see an overall improvement of the costumer service as a result of this review and the interactions I experienced, as stated above/ previously. Seriously one of the best YMCAs on the east coast. I've been to dozens up and down the region and this location NAILS it 🔨 Hot tub, giant sauna, giant pool, giant indoor waterpark, giant gym, giant indoor track, giant outdoor walking track, giant forested trail in the back... 🌳 The staff are awesome, just make sure to tell them "Nationwide" if you're from out if state. I've had some of the best and most fun workouts here!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟
Good evening Google Family. I visited for the first time today to donate Power red blood for the American Red Cross. I have not donated in a minute because my hemoglobin is always too low. It was great to be back out donating again. My appointment was 8 am and I was late about 20 minutes. However the young lady volunteer at the desk took my information, meaning my donor card and my id and then I sat and waited until they called me. I have been a member at my gym for 24 years, but since their lack of classes, workers not knowing how their gym is run, and the run down appearance at one of their gyms, I have cancelled my membership and am now a member with your YMCA! I truly am impressed with the spotless, cleanliness of the whole building from floor to ceiling and blown away from the various different workout classes you offer, how incredible the instructors are with teaching and how they start right on time with each class! Overall I enjoy this Y, wide variety of exercise equipment , staff are friendly if not often helpful. My gripe is that decisions are made without any member input. Most recently a sink in the exercise area has been removed which had been frequently used by members for hand washing during and after exercise sessions. Now when both restrooms are occupied , a common occurrence, you can’t wash your hands. Frequently used equipment just disappears, to be replaced by other unused machines.
