I was checked in promptly an completed my pre consultation exam before my consultation appointment time. Dr. Goode saw me early and was thoughtful prepared for the visit. He clearly explained the results of my exam and next steps. Dr. Goode has excellent interpersonal skills. He explains things clearly and listens and responds to questions well. My application was not rushed and Dr. Goode clearly interacts with me as a person not just generic patient.
He performed emergency kidney stone surgery on me. I was i hosp for 3 days. I had a lot of questions and concerns but didn't get any answers or visits from him. He was supposed to call me on fri between patients according to whomever answered the phn fri at 9:15. Waited all day, no call. That evening I tried to call thru ans service but kept getting hung up on after waiting 19 mins. I have proof on my phn. Kept happening that night so I gave up. Called next day. After being told by another hospital to go home with a blocked kidney stone and infection, I was fortunate to come under Dr. Goode’s care at Northern Nevada Hospital. I think Dr Goode is probably great. But his office is so incredibly slow at making surgery appointments, l could end up in ER 6 times before they call. I called because my pain was coming back and I never got a call from a medical person, asking me my symptoms. They finally scheduled my procedure - more than 6 weeks after I first saw Dr Goode. I really liked Dr Goode when I met him and I’ve gotten input that’s he’s excellent. Too bad his office staff don’t care about the patients.
Dr. Roland Goode is an excellent professional. He took the time to listen to my concerns and provided feedback with options to remedy my symptoms. I appreciate a doctor who is patient, friendly, and passionate about his patients' situations. I am pleased to have him as my doctor through my ongoing health challenges. I will continue with his practice throughout my course. Thank you.
