Dr. Mayer is the best doctor he is so caring. I had spinal fusion and was off pain medication two days after surgery and none of pre op pain I had before surgery. His PA Sarah is wonderful. Office staff are incredible.
I was in a lot of pain when I saw Dr. Mayer. I was also out of shape also due to pain and balance issues. Dr. Mayer took a chance on me. It was my 5th back surgery and it has been very successful. I can stand up straight again and the chronic pain is gone. The surgery took two days to complete. I have worked hard in physical therapy and my physical therapist who saw me before surgery is very pleased with how well I am doing now. I'm so thankful for Dr. Mayer. Years ago, I was treated by Dr. Stokes, and Dr. Erik TRUMEES of the same practice. Because they put my surgery out so long I ended up in the emergency room with an emergency just disconnect me which left me with nerve damage down my right leg into my foot. That’s never gone away. (EDITED REVIEW GO TO PART TWO) PART ONE: Wow, where do I began? I met Dr Mayer from a referral through my pain clinic. I had a cervical posterior fusion & laminectomy from my C3-T2 with hardware in my neck to my thoracic area in April of 2022. My life has not been the same. Dr. Mayer performed a very elaborate spinal alignment surgery on my mother one year ago, and we could not be happier with the outcome as well as with the process. She went from being maybe 10-20% functional, to being able to do almost everything she wants now.
