Out of the way of the hustle and bustle, short drive there, plenty of parking, close to interstate, no tolls, no traffic. Plenty of games on two floors, separate game/smoking area, restaurant and bars. Great live horse racing with indoor and outdoor seating both reserved and general admission. Well maintained facility with clean restrooms, friendly staff, good food and entertainment. Big jackpots and great rewards program. Love the birthday drawing! New Kent is my favorite Rosie’s. Staff is great and facilities are always clean. And their food…their burgers are the best!
They are a gaming emporium meaning it's not a true casino. The slot machines, they had about 700 of them) go off historical horse r a vessel to determine if you win or not. You really don't see people winning a lit like at MGM, but it's fun to pass time at.
Had a good time, but I am not a big gambler. The electronic machines are just kinda boring to me. With the $20 as a new player, and gambled $20 of my own money and got a bite to eat. Was able to play for a couple hours before I lost it all. But for what I spent, I was entertained for a few hours while our group was there.
