The best complex in the Ann Arbor and Ypsi area for those seeking a combination of high quality and affordability. Tops Spice Tree and the other McKinley options. Safe, nice fitness center, nice newly renovated pool, and kind community members. Most pet friendly spot in the area, as well. 40 minute bus ride into Ann Arbor, 40 minute drive to Detroit, 20 minute drive to Ann Arbor, and if you half the Ann Arbor times, you have your downtown Ypsi times. I've only seen the townhomes here. Some of them are really nice, up to date, and some even come with your own little fenced in yard. These would be perfect for a family with kids or a dog. I've also seen other townhomes here that are out of date, need work, and don't really come with much of a yard. I guess it depends on how much you are willing to pay.
Lived in Round tree apartments for three years. Worst apartment complex ever. We had loud neighbors fighting at night time all the time. Lots of problems with neighbors. While living there in 2022 in December I had gotten hit by a car and I was on the third floor had so much trouble getting up and down the stairs did Round tree care no they wouldn’t even accommodate to my needs at all. Not a happy tenant and we've been here 8 years! Rent goes up every year and customer service gets worse every year! No one ever answers when I call the office nor do my voicemails get return calls. The POOL should've opened almost a month ago. Been great swimming weather but NO POOL and no discount on our rent for not having this amenity! The quality of tenants has drastically fallen. I think this apartment place has gone completely downhill. They are quick to take your money or charge a $100 late fee after a couple of days but I have been without heat and air for 4 days and not once has someone came to fix it after many calls. This is absolutely ridiculous! I have 3 children and it gets upwards of 87 degrees in this apartment. I've said this to maintenance and yet here we are with it not fixed. They really should be ashamed of how they are doing things. I'm so disgusted with how much this place really do... read more
