Like others have said below if I could give zero stars I would. I get weather issues but to only have your trashed picked up 3 times this year with clear roads is ridiculous. Weird to blame of weather when it has also been an issue in the summer time. It seems like the driver just doesn’t want to add time to turn around. I live on a dead-end street (I am the last house), and the garbage collector picked up everyone else’s garbage on the road, but mine. Our pickup is on Thursday morning. I called to report the issue, but since it was the same day, they did not consider it a missed pickup (which I knew meant the collector would never return). After multiple calls, no one showed up, and I was informed that they have 48 hours to complete the pickup, which now extends to Tuesday. I have never been so disappointed in a service provider. If I could give them zero stars I would. When you pay for a service, that service should be fulfilled! Every Thursday is pick up day and every Thursday I have to look at my ring doorbell to see if it was picked up and go figure, it wasn't today. This has happened several times in the past year, one being just a few weeks ago and it was blamed on the weather. Okay, totally get it. The excuse today was "they had a slow start", not my problem. Our Rumpke team never misses a scheduled pick up. They are consistent in the time frame they normally collect our cans and always return our cans to a safe spot for us to pick them up. Thanks for your professional work ethic.
I signed up for service 12 years ago , bought a $75 can, and have had great service since then. I've only had one issue about a month ago when the trash pickup guy slammed the can too hard to empty it and cracked it down the side. I get that cans don't last forever, but when I called, I was told they don't replace them, even tho Iwas not the one who cracked it. I'm totally disappointed they won't take care of this issue, especially because of the cost of a can these days. I guess I'll be buying a Walmart can.
