This is the absolute worst trash company I have ever had. I have had multiple bad experiences with rumpke, first they would leave trash in my trash cans and now I’m fighting just to get them to pick my trash up after I moved addresses. I have called multiple times and nothing seems to get done obviously because my trash is plum full with cats getting in it!! Another week and trash still not collected. 08/11/2025. It's becoming a weekly battle each week in Maysville ky to try and get rumpke service. Customer service apologized and gives windows for correction that come and go with no resolve. Trash will sit out for weeks.
If I could give zero stars to the local (Georgetown) Rumpke, I would. Our trash isn't picked up more weeks than it is. Since November 2024, I've had 15 missed pickups where they take much longer than their 48 hour 'limit' to come back out and get it, typically with them not coming back at all until the following week (if even then - I'm currently on my 3rd week of trash build up). Worst experience EVER!! Not only did we have issues at our previous address with just taking the trash in the first place, now we have moved to a new address they have picked up our trash ONE time. I have trash for TWO weeks piled up in my yard, now here we go for week 3. Not to mention also currently doing home renovations so my trash just continues to stack up. Like others have said below if I could give zero stars I would. I get weather issues but to only have your trashed picked up 3 times this year with clear roads is ridiculous. Weird to blame of weather when it has also been an issue in the summer time. It seems like the driver just doesn’t want to add time to turn around. I have spoken to customer service and they were no help. It really must be nice to be a company that has a monopoly on service so you don’t have to care about your consumer.
