The gentlemen who collects our regular trash every Thursday morning is a wonderful, polite and respectful individual. He says good morning and smiles/waves. One morning I forgot to put out the cans until I heard the truck coming. This kind gentlemen waited a minute or two for me. I was very appreciative. Rumpke, thank you for such wonderful staff.
Rumpke trash pick up in very good.That is the only reason I rated them three stars. Working with people in the office isn't. I have been trying for months to get off of auto pay and I still keep getting the emails. I just received another one about auto pay. When I call they blame others in their office for the problem. It's usually that the person who handles this issue has been on vacation. This person apparently gets months of vacation time. The trash pickup is consistent they use to pick up around 5:30am now its 10:30am for some reason. My only complaint is we live in a rural area and our garbage person consistently leaves our can on the road instead of the driveway so we have to be sure to get it in as quickly as possible to avoid it being hit by road demons.
I have had issues with Rumpke for YEARS forgetting to pick up either garbage or the recycling for my entire street. They’ll go a couple weeks remembering and then back to forgetting us. I have to call Rumpke and ask them to come back, which sometimes they don’t even do, but this means my garbage/recycling sits outside all weekend for people to have to walk by or animals to get in. Rumpke is always reliable - no matter what the weather is, good or bad. They keep us informed of any delays or change in service. And they take all your garbage. The men on our street even take the can back to the house for an elderly lady. They go above and beyond. Thank you for having such a wonderfully dependable company!
