We have a Dumpster that is to be dumped bi-weekly. About every 2 months I have to call and fight with them because they say they have dumped our Dumpster and they clearly have not. We still get charged even when they dont dump it. Usually when you call you get transferred to the next person and to the next person and so on. Waiting for call back again. My trash hasn’t been picked up in over 2 weeks. I’ve made numerous calls, sent emails and reached out on social media. I’m always assured my trash will be picked up soon but my trash continues to sit at the end of my driveway putrefying. Clearly some internal breakdown has occurred as this disruption in service didn’t begin until Rumpke decided to change my collection date. We use their household garbage pickup. I believe we were able to keep the same guys from the previous service. They do a great job in all kinds of weather and we appreciate them. Always been dependable and I hope my guys get recognized for their outstanding service.
Had AE curbside for years no problems. Then Rumpke bought them out. Rude customer service to start which is a big NO for me. Not just one time either. I called three different times trying to get turn around service just to receive a different condescending answer each time. The need for turnaround was MY fault 100%. AE curbside they came back that day or next and you paid a fee. Simple and much appreciated. Rumpke has different procedures all around. Absolutely terrible company to work with. I was with a company that was bought out by Rumpke, since Rumpke took over ten weeks ago they have not picked up trash without me calling them to come back once. 10 weeks of missed service, the last three weeks I was supposed to recieve a call from the local supervisor and nothing. Today was the same thing aplology, and someone will call, no managers available, and they don't have the phone number for the supervisor.
