They have poor (missed) service and keep raising prices. Mine went up ~25% in a span of 6 months. I have cancelled RUMPKE and now signed up with AVAs that is local family-owned business that is more cost effective.
On numerous occasions I have had to call about them only emptying half of my trash cans and them refusing for over a month to take this trash can and them finally telling me I would have to find someone else to do it. Am I happy with Rumpke NO
Rented a dumpster prepaid for 7 days. Was done in 4 days, told them to come get it. They never came to get it until 11 days after the day we requested them to come get it. Now they keep sending bills saying I owe them money. TALKED to their customer service reps 6 times since and each time I was told that it was their mistake and the matter would be handled. They just keep sending bills and passing the buck. Was threatened for it to be turned in to collections agency if I didn't pay. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
We were so impressed with the service #HOOTERHILLS Primitive Campgrounds received from Rumpke! They not only provided all the services we requested, including weekly clean-out for the portable restrooms, but they also took the time to explain the schedule and process clearly during our initial request. This made everything so convenient and hassle-free for everyone 🤜🏾🤛🏾 🤸🏽♀️
I moved 09/02/25 and have not received my refund for having had to pay for 3 mo service. Three calls later and I might get a refund 7-10 business days. Really??? You don’t wait that long if a payment is late to you! I was with this company for 20+ years. I’m glad I don’t need them anymore.
