Called Rumpke to see if we could bring our trash truck-loving son in on his 2nd birthday to see a trash truck. Kelly, the Dispatch Coordinator, said absolutely and in the hour before we got there had went to the store and got our son a balloon and cupcakes! They also gave him his very own trash truck, a dumpster keychain, and let him sit in a truck and honk the horn! It was truly the best day of his life! Their service has been awful. The have skipped me 4 times since the first of this year and several times in past years ,yet they bill for times missed. Their extra charge for fuel is outrageous. I can understand an extra charge but not that much. With everyone paying extra they are making a huge profit on that alone. They tried to tell me just now that l would have to pay a cancelation fee because I had signed an agreement. Excellent customer service from Rumpke Bloomington and Kelly Anderson! I had received a replacement recycling bin that was not in good condition. Kelly had a new recycling bin swapped out for me within a business day. The prompt response was much appreciated!
Terrible service! They picked my trash up 2 times in 4 months. Canceled my service and asked for a refund. They will not issue a refund until they pick up the trash can. It has been setting at the end of my driveway for 15 days waiting pickup!! I would not recommend EVER!! Go with Ava trash service. They are affordable, friendly, and consistent.
Went there to go dump some trash, turns out you can’t pay cash, now what kind of business would not accept cash? Well heard it straight from an employees mouth that it’s because it’s easier for them to keep track of money.
