Very unprofessional pick up service. Set out some items that evidently they could not or would not pick up. One small container with several card board boxes was strewn all over the hill side, unnecessary, could have easily set this to the side and emptied the trash cans. Will not use Rumpke ever in the future.
Recently moved from out of state. Had construction material to dispose of. I called Rumpke and was told about the site in Jeffersonville. Upon arriving at the location (Feb 08) I was told they couldn’t take cash since they didn’t have any on hand. Shouldn’t be open then.. Then I was told, “Goodluck” when heading to the site that was located out in the landfill. Probably the best advice. Me and all my neighbors haven’t had our trash picked up in almost 3 weeks cause they claim they can’t get down my driveway. I only get credit of $3. Love this service 🙃
It was a free dump day. I've paid many times and it was super easy. I guess you get what you pay for! There were a lot of extra workers trying to direct where to go. The first guy asked what I was dumping and asked to see inside the U-Haul I was driving. I said sure, and that there wasn't that much. He told me to go across the weigh station and then see the next guy and they would help me unload there. I called the Rumpke office to ask for weights and prices for the landfill. I was told $30 for up to 1 ton. I clarified that is 2000 pounds for $30 am I correct the customer service person said yes I get out to the dump, dump my product non-hazardous waste Went to Ray and I was told I was at 660 pounds and the charge would be $60.
