It was a free dump day. I've paid many times and it was super easy. I guess you get what you pay for! There were a lot of extra workers trying to direct where to go. The first guy asked what I was dumping and asked to see inside the U-Haul I was driving. I said sure, and that there wasn't that much. He told me to go across the weigh station and then see the next guy and they would help me unload there. They close at 4:00 p.m. even though their hours are listed as open till 5:00 p.m. so if you go there after 4:00 p.m. they will turn you away, and tell you it's only open for rumpke employees until 5:00, but closes to the public at 4:00. You would think a big company would understand that having their Google listing hours would be for the benefit of the public, so you can look it up and see if it's worthwhile to drive over there or not while they're still open. Obviously the rumpke employees know what their own hours are.

Just wanted to share that whoever was the trash man that came on Compton Road in Jeffersonville, KY on 11/24/2023 is the real MVP!!! We forgot to set our trash out and the trash man grabbed ours anyway. As an adult missing trash day is the worst so thank you to whoever it was that took it upon themselves to grab ours even though they didn’t have to. Much appreciated 🩵

I called the Rumpke office to ask for weights and prices for the landfill. I was told $30 for up to 1 ton. I clarified that is 2000 pounds for $30 am I correct the customer service person said yes I get out to the dump, dump my product non-hazardous waste Went to Ray and I was told I was at 660 pounds and the charge would be $60. I used Rumpke once before when I had cheap trash cans and they didn't do very well but I bought a trash can that can be automatically dumped with their hydraulic system and they set it back in my driveway upright just the way I like it. I have no complaints with the service and the men I have encountered have been very helpful and friendly. Service is on time every Monday and I fully appreciate the service.
