I live in Jeffersonville, & 7 yr customer. I have had multiple issues during this time. Trash cans are often left laying into roadway, trash left in cans, not picked up at all, or thrown into my driveway with lids busted off(lids are attached to cans). I live 3 miles from the dump and the smell of the dump is absolutely horrible! The amount of vultures the dump attracts is horrendous, hit one flying up off the side of the road in my truck! I've had better service than Rumpke supplies. Prices seem to fluctuate every quarter so I never know how much to budget. But the biggest issue I have is they are sloppy. Weekly trash service is good. I had an issue with my personal trash can and they took care of it quickly. I would have gave 5 starts but the charge to haul something to the landfill is ridiculously high. Imo We will probably start seeing stuff dumped on the side of the road again if something dont change. Need more free dump days.

Rumpke is very reliable. If, for some reason, they are going to be late or off for a holiday, they always let us know ahead of time. I am a widow and have very little garbage. I would appreciate it if Rumpke could have a different monthly payment for such cases. I only put my trash can out once a month. Thank you Rimpke for your business!

My only complaint is that you can't go to the office and pay your bill. They keep the door locked and when we had snow on they didn't even clean off the sidewalk. Sometimes they have the sidewalk blocked with employees vehicles or even their garbage trucks. I know you are probably doing this survey because of the complaints from people that live in the area for the stink, the garbage on the roadway leading to the dump and the wear and tear to the roads in the area. I can't smell Because I have lost that sense . I know there'... read more
