I've had better service than Rumpke supplies. Prices seem to fluctuate every quarter so I never know how much to budget. But the biggest issue I have is they are sloppy. Twice the workers have left trash in the street. Last week it happened again. It appeared a bag had fallen while loading and burst open. So I had to clean it up. I live in Jeffersonville, & 7 yr customer. I have had multiple issues during this time. Trash cans are often left laying into roadway, trash left in cans, not picked up at all, or thrown into my driveway with lids busted off(lids are attached to cans). I live 3 miles from the dump and the smell of the dump is absolutely horrible! The amount of vultures the dump attracts is horrendous, hit one flying up off the side of the road in my truck! Not pleased with Rumpke, I can’t understand how they pass my trash can by that sits next to the road and with the amount we’re paying in trash you would think they would ensure your trash is actually being picked up. In the process of finding a new service. Getting fed up with them.
The workers are great and they honesty have a physical job to do. The only thing is push our kirby back a little more from the road when emptied. Other than that we appreciate our Rumpke workers!!
Weekly trash service is good. I had an issue with my personal trash can and they took care of it quickly. I would have gave 5 starts but the charge to haul something to the landfill is ridiculously high. Imo We will probably start seeing stuff dumped on the side of the road again if something dont change. Need more free dump days.
