This company is to say the least trashy. From trashy customer service that wants to talk and not listen to the customer. To their trash truck driver just driving right on by when the trash is setting out on the curb for pick up. Bill is paid and up to date but yet they won’t come back and pick my trash up that their driver missed. I am very pleased with the service of our Rumpke hauler and the office personnel. I regret that the cost of doing business with you has gone up so much. We started at $20 a month several years ago. Paying $60 every three months wasn't bad, but now we pay so much more a month plus the fuel adjustment charge. I can understand the fuel adjustment and don't mind that. I only hope that the extra we pay each month is going to the employees.
When I first moved to Franklin furnace into the home that I am in I had a different company the different company provided service for $19.50 a month. Immediately upon Rumpke purchasing this company out Rumpke raised our rates $3.50 to $23 or thereabouts shortly after Rumpke purchased the company the pandemic started gas prices went up and they started charging everybody a gas surcharge to pick up the trash this surcharge was extremely unfounded and by no means did nothing more than line the pockets of the corporate CEO this... read more
When we got their service there was no mention of a contract whatsoever so when we called to cancel service they said I had to pay off the 3 year contract that I was signed up for a contract that I did not agree to nor know about. So I do not recommend this service unless you want to be out a lot of money. And not so expensive when there is little companies out here charging way less than them.
The only positive about Rumpke is that they keep a strict pick-up schedule. If that's the only thing important to you, then you will like them. During our time using Rumpke, our rates kept increasing well above competitors. Soon before switching service providers, we had a roll-off dumpster while moving into a new property. We had a two week rental, and after two weeks no one showed up to get it. A week after they were supposed to come I called, and they said there was no record of us having a rental.
