Rumpke provides reliable, consistent service with hardworking, courteous drivers. Pickups are always on time depending on weather/Road conditions (understandable), drivers truly care about doing the job right. It’s clear they take pride in their work.
One star is too much. Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. And that’s not an exaggeration. To start with Ironton Ohio. The address listed for Rumpke is not correct. No one answers the phones. Finally someone at a gas station led me to where the dump site is for me to drop off some trash. I get there only to be treated absolutely horrible by the lady at the Scales. There are no instructions on what to do nor do they give you any. This lady was getting so frustrated. Let's get serious 🤪 because I hate garbage it stinks ...it clutters it just messes up your yard and I can't stand it BUT I LIKE RUMPKE *****again I LIKE RUMPKE because they are efficient, on time, they tell you about Holiday pick up and recently I saw programs I had not seen before... so they are forward moving. Lived in the area for 5 months. Ive had weeks where noone has picked up. My most recent bill was double charged. Definitely not reliable or worth the hassle
If there is ever another trash company available. I will always choose them. I think rumpke is the greediest company around. Always paid my bill on time and before it was due it should not matter if someone throws a bag of trash in my can weekly but it mattered to them enough to have a driver go through baby diapers and bathroom trash to see if anyone else’s trash was in my can.
