My complaint is specific to the Orange County Transfer Station. Today (04/09/2022) was the second time I have loaded and driven a 3/4 ton truck of trash to the transfer station only to find it closed and gated. The Facebook page says it is open, Google says it is open, and the hours posted on the sign out front of the gate say it should be open. The 24-hour service number got me right through to someone in Ohio who said they were open, and they didn't know why Orange County station was closed.
Our service man “John” is highly professional at his job. His people skills with the customer is excellent and anytime he meets us he always dose so with a smile and kind words. You need more workers like John. He’s a valuable employee.
We have had rumpke for over 2 years now. I do not personally know my trash person, but he (or she) is the best. There is never any trash that has fallen on the ground and my trash cans are put back where he got them from and are right side up. They are never just thrown around. I would like to give him a huge thank you for taking the extra time to do that.
Very nice people however I never get my bill on the same day each month. They also changed my pickup day and I was never notified. Above all though, they’re nice and affordable.
The trash is always picked up without leaving anything strewn across the yard or road. The container is placed neatly back in place. Most of all, I appreciate the kind and professional attitude of the trash pickup staff.
