Rumpke truck was stuck in my yard this past winter. I reported it to them when it happened, and now middle of April and no repairs to the yard. Lies, excuses and no action. They started by saying they didn't even have a truck in the area, problem is I have pictures of it stuck and being pulled out of my yard by a tow truck. I don’t make reviews but this trash company is completely useless and ridiculous. I made multiple complaints about my trash not being picked up . I would call at around the hours of 11pm - 2 am when I would usually get off work to report that my trash hasn’t been picked up , they said it has to be the next business day . When they are closed on Saturday? And I would think 2 am is the next business day. I had my trash on the curb for over a month . Missed me every single week I had this company . Rumpke is trash. We've been their customers for over 2 years. We always keep our bill paid up to date. We've had issues with them skipping our pickup 6 or 7 times now. The driver had a "full truck" and instead of going and dumping to come back and finish his route, he just skips us. We've tried to call and have the issue resolved 4 times now. Ultimately we decided to switch services to a more competent company. 3 weeks now and rumpke has neither emptied their dumpster or came to take it. What's it tell you that the new comp... read more
I would leave zero stars if it would let me. Service is extremely unreliable and expensive. In the past 6 months they have missed 8 different pick ups. Thats a half of a billing cycle, yet instead if credit for services not rendered i get a cost increase. There are several more services out there that are 40+ dollars a cycle cheaper. I will not use nor recommend
I had the recycling service and they never picked it up. I always had to call and tell them they missed it, so I cancelled it. My next bill I was again changed for the recycling service. I had to call and have it remove. If you go with Rumpke be aware you will have to stay on top of them and help them do their job. Also the fuel charges are getting out of control.
