Rumpke is trash. We've been their customers for over 2 years. We always keep our bill paid up to date. We've had issues with them skipping our pickup 6 or 7 times now. The driver had a "full truck" and instead of going and dumping to come back and finish his route, he just skips us. We've tried to call and have the issue resolved 4 times now. Ordered a dumpster for a clean out come day of delivery they never delivered. It said it would not fit. The driveway was too narrow and wires were too low for any size dumpster which the only way I found out was because I called asking they didn’t even call and tell me anything. By the way I’ve had previous dumpsters in the driveway just went with them because they were cheaper. I have used Rumpke services for over 10 years. Generally speaking they do their job of picking up trash. Every now and then they don’t. I call, and they will tell me the driver stated there wasn’t a trash can out. Which, they are wrong, it was out there. They will then schedule it to be picked up. And usually they will. But, there have been times they never come to pick up the missed trash. I call again, and they have reluctantly credit 1 week for missed service. But, not this last time. Always very reliable service. We have never had any issues. Worth the price for peace of mind, and they are great. Others that are cheaper miss pickups, or are very strict on number of bags. We usually only have 1 trash can per week but sometimes more, they always take everything. Free recycling as well.

I called today to price match my neighbors current rate they were offered from a mail flyer, and told that is not able to be done. The offer was for $16.75 per month with free trash can and additional fuel surcharge, which comes out to almost $30 lower than my own quarterly rate. I was told this isn’t able to be done, even though I have been a loyal customer since moving into my house. I will be canceling and going to mid-Ohio.
