Update: Rumpke came out and made it right. Can was fixed and service has been a lot better. Changing review to 5 stars Rumpke bought out Wellman Trash Services recently. Today was my first pickup. They ran up over the curb tearing up the grass. They dented the can so now it won’t stand up correctly. Called customer service, was sent to another department where I remained on hold for 20 mins only to be told nobody was available and to leave a message. I left rumpke a year ago because they missed me 5 weeks in a row. Sadly the people who I used after (never missed one trash pick up) had to retire and sold to rumpke. Week 2 of them taking over and they've missed me and my neighbor again. I called and left a message, did not hear back. Called again talked to someone and she said she'd let me know if it was my fault that they missed me (and my neighbor). Couldn’t be happier with the service we receive! Accidentally missed my trash pick up day and Mr. Josh Tillery was coming thru on a Saturday and collected it!! My kids love seeing the garbage trucks and even though it’s a job dealing with peoples trash Mr.Tillery had a smile and wonderful customer service!
If you want a reliable trash service, save yourself the headache and don’t call these people. They failed to pick up our recycle on our scheduled day (literally watched the truck just drive on past our house without emptying our bin that was sitting out there). When I called to get them to come back, not only do you have to “select from a menu of options” several times to get to a human, the person said somebody would return in 2 days and to leave our bin by the curb. 2 days goes by, nobody has returned.
