Reddit said this was one of the best running stores in the country and I believe it. Best running store I’ve been to. Joel, the manager, was super knowledgeable and helpful. He even identified something in my stride that was likely causing me issues. Runners Roost is a franchise, so they are all different in terms of quality. Ive been to all 3 runners roosts in the Denver area and this was the best by far.
So all our exploring, our shoes wear in odd ways. Though I did not have much hope, I was seeing if the store may carry the weird netting sneakers and more breathable shoes have. Sadly, they did not have such types of repair equipment. They did also inform me that there is likely no real ability to have the netting pieces repaired properly. The dude was a solid bro for this, so no beef with the service, just sucks no real solution, even at a shoe specialty store, to fix netting.
Very satisfied with the excellent help I received from Luke M. He analyzed my gait and stride, inspected my 20+ year old shoes, listened patiently as I recited all my various knee, leg and foot ailments, before selecting a pair of shoes that were almost perfect. When I hesitated at the "almost" part, he very courteously helped me try a half dozen different pairs in order to land on the perfect pair. I'm impressed and grateful for the excellent service.
I'm new to running and signed up for a fitting session and was helped by Jack, could not have been happier with the session. Jack was very helpful and not at all pushy, bringing out 10 different pairs of shoes for me to try on. At the end of the session he analyzed my form and gave me some tips to make my strides smoother. Would recommend this for anyone looking to get into running.
Went in this week to get some new gym shoes. I always struggle finding a properly fitted shoe with my wide feet and fallen arches. I end up settling for something that's just ok. The staff here are great, and definitely know their shoes. About 30-45min and I have the best fitting shoes I've probably ever owned. Will definitely be returning for some runners in the spring.
