I was training for a half marathon, when 2 weeks out, my hamstring started acting up. A week prior to my run, I was able to get an immediate appointment. I was going to run, no matter what...but, I hurt and I needed help. Dry Needling, some deep pressure on the pain points and some exercises gave me the relief and confidence I needed to take off the morning of the run. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. This was my first time experiencing needles, etc., in therapy. My therapist is very knowledgeable, and she explained how it works, and how it would benefit me. I was amazed at how I actually felt muscles in my lower back relaxed, that haven’t felt relaxed in over 30 years!!! I wish I had known about this type of therapy back then. It’s very possible I could have been cured! I highly recommend RVA Therapist!!

RVA Physical Therapy is the most fabulous place for Physical Therapy. I first went about 5 years ago and they were amazing so much so that I was back to normal. Now (Nov. 2025) I am back for another issue and need several sessions and it was like being back at home. They are so welcoming, attentive and I leave feeling back to me. Highly recommend!!

I’ve had two great sessions so far. My PT is knowledgeable and provided support for me in receiving dry needling treatment for the first time. I was able to get an appointment right away, and I can already see a reduction in my back pain. The location is easy to find and access via I-64. The office team is friendly and welcoming.

This place has been an absolute blessing in helping my back pain. From the first visit, I was actively listened to and my treatment catered to what I need to heal and repair. The exercises that I was sent home with are easy to understand and they even include a QR code to see a short video. Great doctors and wonderful staff!
