I strongly advise against placing a loved one in this facility. The conditions are unacceptable, and the standard of care is far below what any resident deserves. The building itself is unsanitary and outdated, with unpleasant odors and dirty rooms that raise serious health concerns. Staff behavior is deeply troubling. Receptionist Tasha, is always so helpful. I have been coming to Ryze on the Avenue for 3 years. I watch her multi task with a smile on her face and gets it done. Maybe you should have a Receptionist day.
I’m writing this with a heavy heart and growing frustration about the treatment my father has received at this nursing home. There is a pattern of neglect and disrespect that no family should have to witness. The staff takes an excessive amount of time to respond to call lights—even for basic needs. My father’s room is often dirty, and essential supplies like gowns, bed pads, and footies are frequently unavailable. Firstly, they “misplaced” my resident’s phone and bag of clothes, secondly every single 4 and 5 star review you see came from employees at the site to keep them accredited. Thirdly, all care ie. doctor’s appointments, wound management and laundry, are said to be provided and in fact ARE NOT. Fourthly, the staff are perfectly willing to lie to keep your residents until the insurance they carry will return them.
Tasha Young work the front desk and she is very professional and informative, you can tell that she loves her job and loves what she does and she is always 100% for the resident
