I've been a member of Safe Federal Credit Union's stalwart banking system for 3+ decades, and it's one of the state's best Credit Unions ever!
Safe Federal Credit Union is the worst loan service provider and has the worst employees. 1. I was unable to set up an online account even though I called multiple times and submitted multiple forms online trying to create one. 2. Additionally, they tanked my credit score even though they were the ones who made the error by depositing a check into the wrong account (and it took hours of my time and a ton of stress to get this corrected). 3. So I gave this location 2star because the young lady at the counter wasn’t trying to be helpful to me nor my husband. We came from out of town and needed a wire transfer for a Closing on a house. This bank is a shared credit union of our bank in MD. They couldn’t do the wire transfer. However, the lady at the counter seemed to catch an attitude with my husband when he wanted to know were there any other options. I have called this bank several times within the past 6 or 8 months and can never reach anyone at the branch or the customer service line. I just hold for the next available representative. I waited once for almost an hour then finally gave up. In fact I am holding right now. Their app does not work properly either. This is absolutely ridiculous. All I want to do it close my account!
