Terrible service. Won't LET me pay on a loan for my deceased mother. Record keeping is non existent. I have to have the same conversation with over ten people now. PR documents sent in are gone. No compassion, no respect. And to top it off my previous car loan was paid early and showed up up as past due on my credit score.
Lauren and khadija H were very awesome and made my experience in open an account with SAFE and wonderful time they was very informative about every single plans and perks and selectionw with opening an account with them. If i could give 10/10 i would.
I go to this bank because it is close by and a branch of my online bank. I like the power up checking/CD percentages they have and the in person staff has been kind to me, as well as helpful. Shout out to their financial agent who helps with budgeting, Shretta Godbolt. I've been trying my best to reach my personal financial goals and she was kind enough to outline a detailed budget for me, along with taking the time to talk me through it all. Update: ATM’s have been updated! Definitely a 5 star bank. As far banking at the Lexington (Augusta Hwy) branch, I give them 5 stars. I’ve been a customer for 15+ years & have only compliments for the staff there. The ATM machines need to be seriously upgraded. They are extremely slow to process. Also, they are slow to roll out technology efficiencies (remote check deposit) thus giving them 4 stars.
No problem getting 2 car loans totaling 90k, however recently applied for a personal loan for 30k and got denied (after my auto loans were paid off). Credit score of mid 700's which is better than most. They asked what was the personal loan being used for? Well if that's the case, it's not a PERSONAL loan is it? From now on, I will go elsewhere for my loans. I pay all loans off early so I guess they don't like it when they can't make more money from me.
