I have visited this urgent care office many times. All of those times have been 5 stars. Yesterday I was having anxiety (I have white coat syndrome). The nurse/tech was very comforting and I felt safe. She got all of my info. The doctor/ resident came in with her phone. She asked me if she could record; I said yes but she felt the hesitation. If you don't want to read the whole review the short story is don't go here As someone that normally uses the VA I found my recent trip to St. Alphonsus Urgent Care in Nampa on Karcher an interesting experience. Triage There appears to be no triage process. When I got there there was a young woman waiting how was clearly in excruciating pain. People with much less pressing issues went in ahead of her. For an urgent care visit, I didn't have to wait too long, and the girls up front were nice. I was in and out in 1 hour and 15 minutes. The PA and her nurse were really nice. I was almost 100% certain of the reason I was there. They did collect samples and I just got those results, so 24 hour turnaround. I was prescribed the medication that I needed and got started on that yesterday. Not feeling better yet, but I should be soon. Had an appointment for 2pm. Got there at 1:40pm to register, etc. Nurse called me in about 2:40pm. Doctor came in about 3:05pm Was finished and leaving at 3:20pm. They all were very nice there, however could have had more help with another Doctor. Other than that went very well.
The staff and Dr were all very kind and compassionate. The doctor was very thorough. I started seeing doctors in the Saint Al’s network a little over a year ago in different locations and the kindness and professionalism are all the same. Saint Al’s is where I get superior treatment.
