Went in due to a cough I’ve had. Receptionist was wonderful but the nurse was in a rush for some reason, even if I was the only patient at the clinic at the time I arrived and went in to do vitals. NP seems to rush the visit too like there was a fire in the building he needed to put out. I go to this particular urgent care because it’s a few minutes away from my home. I went to the St. Alphonsus Karcher Clinic to the Urgent Care. When I got there the Receptionist was Kind, Caring, Friendly, and Helpful. I waited 5-10 Minutes then someone came to take me back to the Room. She also was Kind, Caring, Friendly and Helpful. The Doctor came in about 10-15 Minutes. He was Kind, Caring, Friendly and Helpful. He he took his time to Listen to everything I had to say. He was very Attentive and he took the time to Explain things to me. Wasnt crowded so able to be seen right away Nurse taking bp used The electric button cuff, which is very painful and couldn’t get a good reading cause it hurt so much. She didnt bother to try the old-fashioned cuff or gentler method. I’ve had this done many many times and it was not this painful.
Went in due to severe foot pain, unable to walk on it much, they took X-ray, said nothing is broken gave me a very uncomfortable wrap to wear and sent me on my way. No follow up regarding having an actual radiologist read the X-ray, no follow up to any orthopedic. WENT ‘to ST Luke’s and their radiologist diagnosed me with this reading : “There is severe narrowing at the second tarsometatarsal joint and moderate joint space narrowing and osteophytes throughout the remainder of the midfoot and forefoot. The staff and Dr were all very kind and compassionate. The doctor was very thorough. I started seeing doctors in the Saint Al’s network a little over a year ago in different locations and the kindness and professionalism are all the same. Saint Al’s is where I get superior treatment.
