If I could give ZERO stars I would! I have an appointment with high risk tomorrow for foetal echocardiogram & anatomy. My car broke down so I have to use medical transportation. Well guess what, the appointment has to be verified. We’ve been trying to schedule the ride since last Friday m. We’ve called to try to schedule this trip more than 10 times!!!! These stories are in relation to the Saint Joseph OB/GYN department. My husband and I are having our first baby. I had my initial prenatal check up-a NP did an ultra sound. During the ultra sound, she asks if I have a history of fibroids. I said, “I don’t think so, but maybe my sister”. She says, “oh okay because it’s very common in black women”. When I had my daughter I had a pretty good experience. When I got pregnant a 2nd time it wasn't. I was referred to get a TAC placed in Indianapolis and the surgeon told me that I would be monitored by my mfm, referring doctor. When I started having some complications I called the doctor, spoke to nurses who pretty acted like they were the doctors and told me that I would be followed up by my mfm doctor. The staff is amazing. Went there for ultrasound as I was high risk and ended up switching to them as my primary for the rest of my pregnancy. We still stop by to say hello to them when in the area. Will definitely go back to them if/when we decide for another.
Doctor Asad Sheikh and his whole team are some of my favorite people on this planet. They all care so much about their patients and go above and beyond expectations. I cannot state enough how appreciative I have been with him and his staff.
