This Doctor needs to be avoided, same with the other reviews , we went to see this Doctor for my son’s 4 year old wellness check and he just checked my son under 15mins and as parents we don’t know if we need a shots for my kid so we have no clue and now we have to come back after 1month coz this doctor didn’t know that we have to have a shot for my 4 year old and very important for upcoming school year for PREK , I hope this doctor is okay, coz he might need to see a doctor himself. Terrible experience with this doctor—he was cold and uninterested. We came in for a 3-month check-up, and the first thing he asked was if we were doing vaccines. He didn’t even look at the baby until I requested he actually examine him to check if he was meeting developmental milestones. He spent maybe 15 seconds on the exam. The entire appointment felt rushed and lasted barely a minute. Absolutely shocking and disappointing.
I was skeptical to come to this doctor after reading the reviews online. And thank God I came! Dr. Gallego is a very knowledgeable and experienced doctor! I can see where he doesn’t pamper parents and he might not tell them what they want to hear. And that is just because he is very confident in his knowledge and the experience he has gained over many years. Loved Dr. Gallego and I highly recommend him!
Went to Dr gallego 2 days after giving birth. He looked at my baby and immediately said she needs to eat more because if she keeps eating as she is now, she will be underweight. I told him I was trying to nurse and struggling and he said to give formula. Then left. He didnt explain that babies loose a bit of weight after birth and didn’t even educate us on when breast milk tends to come in. He didnt even explain what type of formula to get. Went in with my one year old daughter for a bad cough and he began grilling me about her being behind on vaccines. I told him I know the new policy and I choose to vaccinate at a slower pace . He didn’t even ask me her symptoms or why I was there. Just rambled on and on about vaccines. Then checked her so fast and asked if I’d like to catch up on vaccines right now. I said not when she’s sick I’ll come back to start when she feels better and all he said was “you can still vaccinate when they have a cold”..... unpleasant expe... read more
