Living at this apartment complex has been a wonderful experience. I moved into my apartment in May and enjoy the amenities and the apartment is spacious with good storage. The pool is great minus the security guards saying you have too many guests when the community guidelines specifically note 2 guests per resident, not per unit (which is still pathetic). The real issue here is that maintenance has been horrible. Everyone I've spoken to has been courteous but there is no urgency when it comes to my maintenance requests. This is one of the easiest 5-star reviews I have ever given. Ive lived at San Sonoma for 2 weeks and my only regret is that I didn’t move here sooner. Full disclosure, I have avoided Mark Taylor properties in the past because I’ve always been uncomfortable with how much power they have over the apartment market in Tempe due to their size. Also, I am not a fan of services like Trash valet and Fetch package service that you cannot opt out of. Security Deposit held Hostage ‼️ Even though living here was a good experience overall. Moving out, however, was a disaster. The move out experience completely soured any possible glimmer of happiness this place had to offer. Despite Arizona law requiring security deposits be returned within 14 days, I had to relentlessly chase mine for 65+ days.
