Santa Marta is a wonderful place for my mom to live. She is taken care of by excellent and caring staff. I have peace of mind my Mom has the best care possible.
I’m rating this place 1 star because the management is awful. The DON (Kelly) is very rude and wrote me up for coming into work with a cough (it was December) she then continued to yell at me in her office because I was confused why she was writing me up. I then had to excuse myself and she yelled at me to sit down (I continued to shut her door and walk away) I heard her through the door yell “OH NO” she came busting out of her office looked in the hr office (she wasn’t in there) and then Kelly yelled at me to give her my pa... read more
My Mom suffered a stroke in early 2023. Santa Marta was recommended to me by some of the nursing and CNA staff for a longer-term care facility. The staff at this facility are very caring. They took wonderful care of my Mother (D. Brown). The staff truly care for your loved one as if they are their own parents and/or grandparents. I cannot say enough good things about Santa Marta and we've just moved my mother in! First of all, Marsha and Kate were amazing help through the process of deciding on floor plans and timelines. Then they gave me the biggest gift in connecting me with Linda Scardino of Gentle Changes and C&C Relocation Services. Linda is a saint! We had to place my Mother in Santa Marta for a 30 day rehab stay due to a fall and injured knee. Santa Marta employees have been wonderful to her and in keeping me updated on her care since we could not see her due to the current pandemic situation. Our experience has been very favorable and we recommend them highly to anyone looking for a safe. Friendly environment for placing their loved ones for rehabilitation.
