Dr. Hackett, and that's exactly what he is, a hackett. At an appointment I had made for the removal of a tooth that kept going abscess, he screamed at me, refusing to remove the tooth and then charge my Insurance company for 5 teeth he never touched. Avoid at all costs!!!
Dental work in general isn’t the most pleasant experience - especially if you need a lot of work done. I hadn’t been to a dentist in about 10 years due to not having insurance & being young and dumb. I never once felt judged for how much work was needed. The hygienist Stephanie & Dr Hackett were patient, kind and very helpful. They also take the time to answer questions we may have. I have been going to Sault Dental Arts for many years. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Hackett and the staff. I love my hygienist- she is very thorough and knowledgeable, she's pleasant and makes me feel comfortable each visit. She also does a lot of hygiene teaching with my kids (and me). I had a bad tooth that needed extraction immediately. The receptionist got me in right away as I had no appointment; I just walked in on my way to Metro. Dr. Siltanen quickly and efficiently pulled that nasty old tooth without me even feeling it! I was a little short of cash so they even allowed me to write a post-dated cheque...yesss! Thank you Dr. Siltanen and staff! Great Dental office. We are always treat with kindness and respect. My kids love going there. The staff is very friendly and professional. They are always willing to Help. Dr Hackett always has great conversations and I am never in pain when he is working. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dentist. Our son had a dental Emerg and Dr Siltanen came in after hours for us and and we are so thankful for him. Great office and Staff.
