Our dogs have been coming here for many years and every visit has always been great and the staff is always kind, especially with the animals. We recently lost one of our dogs at one of the visits due to his age and other major complications he had and with all the caos and emotions my wife and I were going through, the staff and the doctors did everything they could and finally made sure our dog went in peace with no pain. We had a wonderful experience with the caring and supportive staff here. Unfortunately our dog developed bone cancer in her hind leg quickly and had to be put to eternal rest. Over the few weeks we brought her in, they were nothing but empathetic and knowledgeable. They were very respectful of our wishes and made the whole painful process as bearable as it could be. My 19 yr old, blind and deaf Yorkie had a very rough weekend over the Memorial Day holiday. Tuesday morning I called the office and they saw me two hours later. I knew it was time to let him go, and the office was so warm and accommodating during my visit. I was directed from the parking lot straight into a room and at the end of my visit was told to take as much time as I needed with Frankie to say my goodbye. This post should have been written over a year ago, however the feeling remains the same. Savannah animal hospital was nothing short of amazing in assisting my pup for all the necessary regulation's & tests to attain her international travel certificate! I know it was not an easy feat, as very few vetinarary animal hospitals offer this certificate as this is an arduous task! After many other attempts to get health care for our Samoyed Sonny Jones, we found this great practice. Both Dr. Stern and Dr. Ries are excellent. Compassionate, thorough, professional, and they caught an important diagnosis missed by the vet at Kindness, who greatly hurt our boy when examining him. What a difference a great vet makes!
