I have had terrible experiences with dentists and I was really apprehensive about visiting Dr. Nguyen's office. It was the **** experience I have had with a dentist. He explained the issues with my teeth and jaw so well and cited many medical journals while doing so. He explained how to prevent damage and take preventative measures against a life long issue of grinding my teeth. The hygienist was also very nice and gentle with my teeth. I would 100% recommend this dentist. "

Dr Nguyen is awesome. Explaining everything that needs to be done and gives options to you as to how to proceed. ****** is just the greatest! The front desk gals are so very sweet. Love this practice.

Professional and friendly service since my first visit. Dr.Nguyen and his staff are kind and always willing to take the time to explain things so we can understand them. We drive all the way up from Roeland Park, KS just to see them and it’s always worth the trip.

I have been coming to Dr. Nguyen to cater to all of my dental needs for years now, and have yet to have a single complaint. I have had two partial crowns, a deep pulp filling replacement, a new inner-proximal filling and multiple cleanings. From the bite wings to the partial crowns, I have had phenomenal experiences every single time. Dr. Nguyen and his staff are so knowledgeable, and he takes the time to explain everything in a way that is understandable. Usually I leave smarter. The last tooth I got done was a 20+ year old molar filling that was leaking and extremely close to a root canal. Dr. Nguyen and his dental assistant, Nicole, did a flawless job. I had zero discomfort from even the local anesthetic injection (like many others, this is my least favorite part). He numbs slowly to avoid the pain on his patients. If anything, I probably deserved to have that sucker shot into my gums real quick considering my appointment was actually at 3pm, but I thought it was at 4pm! They got me in no problem, and I didn’t get any grief from a single employee after throwing their schedule by showing up an hour late! Since the last filling, my bite is even better than it was when I initially came in. Dr. Nguyen was adamant about getting that part right even though it took a few times with how many contact points I have going on AND I was an hour late, he was extremely patient about perfecting his work. Considering how close to my nerve this last filling was, I’m blown away to say I haven’t had any sensitivity OR discomfort in the area! Pretty amazing work, if you ask me! Shout out to Nicole for being an incredible dental assistant. She isn’t rough with the suction at all and is so considerate of her patients. Nicole is a gold standard in my book when it comes to dental assistants no doubt. My hygienist is Maria, and I couldn’t possibly say enough great things about her! She has a stellar personality and is so hilarious, which makes me look forward to my next cleaning. That’s just her personality, her professional work is just as great! She flosses my teeth better than I floss my teeth...and that’s pretty wild. I’ve never had any amount of pain when she flosses or polishes, nor even when she uses the scraper tool to get all of the build up plaque out from each tooth. The last time I went to see her my gums had been previously swollen from me clenching down in my sleep extra hard, but she maneuvered my prior discomfort gracefully and did a phenomenal job. I’d also like to point out that my kids see Lisa and Joleen....honestly I don’t know what to do with them half of the time, but it’s a flawless victory for us when we go in! I don’t even bribe them with the awesome treasure chest anymore, they love them and so do I! Lastly, I know how stressful going over a treatment plan or even scheduling a next appointment can be, but with Careli up in the front office it’s stress free. She always lets you know what you’re in for and doesn’t surprise you like a lot of buisness do when it comes to finance. It’s a straight up honest conversation and they’re very understanding. They’re also really good at reminding you of your appointment dates and times, and are experts when it comes to confusing insurance stuff. The whole staff is extremely educated and professional. With Covid running rampant, I have to give props for the cleanliness of their facility. Going somewhere where your mouth is wide open and exposed is scary right now, but they were so diligent in all aspects of safety that I feel at ease going there. Thank you ALL at Scott Nguyen Dental Care for remaining a spectacular dental office. I’m so grateful to have found this amazing dental team, and 10/10 recommend that you do the same!
