I have been with SECU credit union for over 40 YEARS and Sill they will not approve me for a loan......... Even with great credit !!!!

I am beyond furious and disappointed with SECU as of today..They really have let me down at the worst time possible that I'm having right now!.The one bank I really depended on for most of my banking needs and have never been disappointed in banking with them or their customers service in the 20 or more years I have banked with them .. i love when i’m charged overdraft fees bc the bank has cash deposits “temporarily unavailable” so you can’t even deposit money that you do have into your account due to their negligence of having it down in the middle of the day!
Overall experience was great with the actual people, but when trying to pay off my loans electronically, there was a problem both times. I sent what I thought was my last payment electronically, but it was $4.38 short a few days later because of interest. The loan I just recently paid off got rejected electronically, because I overpaid. I contacted secu and they gave me the payoff amount. I sent in the check immediately, and it got cashed before they returned the money back to my account, causing my overdraft protection to b... read more
