Not impressed. Had a car financed through SECU back in Jan and I still am not in the system to set up an account online to make payments . Had a lady named Crystal call me about my "new account" and asked if I had any questions... I cant get in touch with anybody.
Marco emailed me to "check-up" on me and called me by the completely wrong name and asked me about my new membership which I don't have. Also I think her name is Jessica who had the pink keyboard with the pink cloud hand rest was the rudest person I have ever met in my entire life. Condescending and absolutely unprofessional.
The personal touch could be better. Too many virtual tellers. Fraud department is on point. Called me within 24hours when noticed something out of my spending scope (Google tictok charges) beware check your account.
I have worked with SECU for the past 13 years, and I have always had a pleasant experience with the staff there. I recently had the pleasure of working with Val Pereira who was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient in helping me set up my business bank account. What ever your banking needs are SECU is a good choice. The next time you are at the Bel Air branch, ask for Val!
I applied for a car loan through secu and was approved, got the check went to the dealer ship and bought a car...3 weeks later I get a call from secu saying my loan was declined AFTER IT WAS APPROVED. The staff is absolutely NO HELP in explaining to me why this happened. Now I'm having to return the car that I bought. This is imo illegal, how can you get approved for a car loan and 3 weeks later get denied? This has been the worst experience ever!!!!
