Get directionsI was a patient here for exactly a week, do NOT send your child here. While I do admit they helped me overcome my agoraphobia, they did it in the wrong manner. The staff made you feel guilty for having these 'disabilities' and made it clear you knew they were bothered by your excessive needs. The word 'Retarded' is thrown around often, mostly by the staff when referring to a patient. As well as I've heard staff mocking a patients weight, the staff also talk bad about one another when they're not around each other. A kid ran ... read more
i was here for 12 days overlapping with christmas and new years - i had a really good time there and even though i didn’t meet with the therapist much , the staff was amazing at comforting and supporting and making it feel like a safe environment. some of the staff acted like they hated their job and made it clear when you were annoying them, but that’s a small number of them and for the most part the staff was amazing. they try their best to engage and make it seem like it’s not just their job to watch us but they get along... read more
I would give hire stars but I just can't. My daughter had to be put in this facility for threats of self cancelation. She was supposed to get intense treatment, however, she was told to play nice so she could get out. She was put on medication and she did well. They kept her the full 2 weeks. I had requested that her property was mailed back to me, they didn't send it back until 3 days before I picked her up, she was th... read more
I hope that you never experience a situation where you need to utilize this type of service, but if you do then I highly recommend that you try to enroll your child in the SECU Monarch program. The staff at this facility are absolutely fantastic. They were very easy to work with when scheduling visits and kept me updated on progress throughout the program. The staff genuinely cares for the well-being of every child and are very personable with the children. I spoke with the Program Manager multiple times over the course of t... read more
We have unfortunately had experience of three youth crisis centers across the Carolinas. This was by far the best. Our child spent more one on one time with doctors than at any other, and they communicated with us regularly, which was amazing. But most importantly, they seemed to know, care and advocate for our child. It was clean and well managed when we visited. I can't thank them enough.
