I don't think any parent wants their children in a place like this but in my experience there are worse places they could go. The facility was clean and appeared to be properly staffed for thr number of children. All the staff I met were kind and accommodating. Some went way above and beyond to care for my daughter. One gentleman in particular had a seemingly endless amount of patience with her. Listening to their banter was very heartwarming, as was his words of encouragement to me after a particularly rough visit. Thank yo... read more

Kai Andrew's is my Gmail name. my real name is zoey bedsole and I was sent here after getting the cops called on me for having a panic attack where i had threatened to end my life and other things. I do not recommend this place. I meet some nice staff and kids but it will likely not help you with you or your child's issues. The only way I could see it helping is out of fear of coming back, which isn't sustainable. The staff mocked me for my eating disorder and cursed at my friend. they told me absolutely nothing about when ... read more

I was a patient here for exactly a week, do NOT send your child here. While I do admit they helped me overcome my agoraphobia, they did it in the wrong manner. The staff made you feel guilty for having these 'disabilities' and made it clear you knew they were bothered by your excessive needs. The word 'Retarded' is thrown around often, mostly by the staff when referring to a patient. As well as I've heard staff mocking a patients weight, the staff also talk bad about one another when they're not around each other. A kid ran ... read more

I would give hire stars but I just can't. My daughter had to be put in this facility for threats of self cancelation. She was supposed to get intense treatment, however, she was told to play nice so she could get out. She was put on medication and she did well. They kept her the full 2 weeks. I wanted her transferred to an in patient mental health facility, longer term than monarch. I was ignored. I had requested that her property was mailed back to me, they didn't send it back until 3 days before I picked her up, she was th... read more

I hope that you never experience a situation where you need to utilize this type of service, but if you do then I highly recommend that you try to enroll your child in the SECU Monarch program. The staff at this facility are absolutely fantastic. They were very easy to work with when scheduling visits and kept me updated on progress throughout the program. The staff genuinely cares for the well-being of every child and are very personable with the children. I spoke with the Program Manager multiple times over the course of t... read more
