Iam notifying the police about the third unit breaking this year. Of course the facility does not notify renters about break ins so I dont know exactly when any of them occurred. But im sure it was they cancelled the insurance. I get 4 texts, emails a day about paying the bill but not even post card about three break ins this year. DONT WASTE Your TIME. The experience is a nightmare. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with storage facilities.

These places must be going out of business. I had two units broken into two months ago. They just announced after a second breaking that they are not repairing the doors because it will cost money. We'll I can't move my furniture out of one unit because the doors won't move. In the other unit everything of value has been removed. But I will also have trouble emptying the unit because I have to crawl around the doors. securCare Self Storage on Independence Blvd in Matthews, NC is a horrible facility. The grounds are poorly maintained, the security gate is often left open, and the office often closed During business hours. The door to the Climate Controlled storage is never locked. The employees aren't particularly helpful or courteous. I don't feel safe here. The new management company refuses to prorate my last month, per the original agreement. Zero stars Bad service, manager is never there ,their office is always closed plus the storages are not well maintained there's mole and allot of bugs and snakes also there seems always to water leaks inside ‍

The car wash stole my money. The trick is to use your card. Thats how you dont get robbed directly! Using change the machine just takes it. Maintenance guy or worker, tells me the manager will be back in 30 min. I waited for about 45 after the 10 min she was already gone. Still no show. Called the 877 number. Guy on phone says he would email maip manager cause she was at lunch from 1pm to 2pm. Well she must take the absolute max time cause she didnt make it back before I left. The is the worst storage facility in Charlotte. Breakins are not uncommon here, especially in the outside storage area. This area is poorly maintained with potholes and a 3-4 inch drop off where the concrete meets the gravel. Thirteen recreational vehicles were broken into this year. Facility management and the area manager did nothing to come to our aid during this difficult time. In fact, they displayed a indifferent attitude when they should have shown compassion.
