Arrived a few minutes early for my 3:30p service appointment and pulled into the reception bay. My name and appointment time were clearly visible on the status monitor, so the appointment was in their system. There were no reception staff present initially. I had a very disappointing experience with the service department at Seminole Toyota. The service advisor I worked with was dishonest and misleading about what maintenance was “required” for my vehicle. I was told that several services were necessary since I was at 50,000 miles that are not recommended by Toyota’s manufacturer maintenance schedule, including a coolant flush, which Toyota does not require until 100,000 miles under normal driving conditions. I brought my 2025 Corolla LE to Seminole in mid-September for its 6-month service. I additionally wanted an oil change, and after being quoted an unacceptable price, declined the oil change. I stated that there was a noise that was apparently coming from under the car, especially when the car was warm. There is a TSB for a defective passenger side motor mount, and the part was special ordered.
