Open minded and accepting. She helped me work through trauma and I use the tools she provided. She is validating and authentic. Listens very well. It took a long time to find her and im grateful for her help.

I have been working with Dr. Bruce Semon for about six years - starting around the age of 16. He is very knowledgeable and he listens to his patients. He finds out what you need personally and sees things through.
She's one in a million. She cares about her patients and is interested in getting to the core of the problem in order to understand and help you get to the root of the problem
I have interacted with Dr. Semon both professionally and personally (briefly treated one of my kids) and in both situations was very unimpressed. Dr. Semon's approach is detached, moderately condescending and one-sided. Despite the number of years he has been practicing I was surprised at his lack of familiarity with several more common diagnoses. Feedback from other patients has been similar - complaints include not feeling heard, dismissive of concerns, doesn't appear to value patient concerns or needs.
Jessica lacked empathy. She was cold and abrupt. She was blind to her client's need for support and guidance in navigating intense emotions which naturally arise as one works through her stated areas of expertise (trauma, PTSD). She was unprofessional in the management of her practice particularly as it relates to transitioning therapists.
He is demeaning and arrogant
Will not recommend Dr Semon to any patient diagnosed with Autism. His approach will not help and will further regress the patient.
