My first visit, Dr. Prasad listened to everything that was going on in my life and didn’t disregard other medical issues playing a part in my life at this time. He was professional and cared about the individual “myself” that saw him. He didn’t treat me like everyone is the same but was caring to treat my concerns and needs as an individual patient. Thank you for listening and being understanding.
Dr. Prasad is the best! My 13 year old has been seeing him and she loves him! She looks forward to their visits. There has not been any wait time before appointments, he takes his time with you, you are not rushed, he really listens and makes you feel comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and accessible, as well. I would highly recommend him, especially for kids who are shy. So glad we found him and that this has turned out to be a positive experience for my daughter.
If you have a history of trauma that has led to behavioral and emotional troubles, then I do not recommend this psychiatrist. He definitely needs more training in working with people with these backgrounds. He's great if you're looking for ADHD medication but expect to do your own research and resource-finding. For instance, I asked if he had any suggestions for developing social skills, and he told me to Google. I had already googled but wanted to ask a non-Google source. Dr.Prasad is amazing, I had a previous apt with a different doctor and they were terrible barely gave me 5 minutes interrupted me etc. Dr.P though so understanding and took the time to ask questions and listen and conversation about my needs he is amazing thank you
