I was a customer at this storage facility for many years and can highly recommend it because of the flexibility with the different sized units available, good access and fantastic staff. The storage will be able to meet most peoples needs, fairly easily. Easily accessible spaces that were always well maintained. Would not recommend or use again. I have the utmost respect for companies who look after their paying customers at vulnerable and stressful times in their lives and Shurgard is not one of them. We were told to give 15 days notice to vacate. We gave notice the day our house move was confirmed. I was told we need to pay the next invoice. I replied to confirm that we wouldn’t need to pay for 30 days and could they send a revised invoice or credit note so we could settle up. Email ignored. The two young ladies, Sarah and Poppy were very professional, friendly and went above and beyond, letting me know about other products. It is such a wonderful experience every time. They make you feel welcome and satisfied with the service. I also admire their uniform.
I researched the whole of the area around Canterbury and Ashford and this is by far the cheapest storage in a 30 mile radius for the first 2 months as it's half price. The staff have been there a long time, so you know it is a good company when staff are not only friendly, but are consistent. What's the greatest thing about lok'nstore is you never feel "watched over" I feel I have complete privacy, whilst my belongings are extremely safe. Safer than other places I looked at.
Good storage . Company. Stored for six months with no issues. Good rate as well. Competent and willing staff. Will definitely use them again!
