I had a mirror and AC in the locker. The cleaner entered the locker and then stole the items. The Shurguard ended my contract even though I had 14 more days left (which I paid for). They then tried to defend themselves by saying it seemed abandoned without even thinking to email me and ask. Stay away. It is Boris I emailed.
One month after I began renting my storage unit, I discovered that mice had defecated throughout my belongings and had also caused damage to some of my items. I requested not to be charged for the following month and asked for a different unit, on the condition that the rodent issue would be resolved and not recur. Shurgard only offered a unit change. I accepted the offer, but within a few weeks, the mouse droppings returned. It seems the entire Bloomsbury facility is infested.
If your are thirsty, come here. Further information: it's the back row of the storage that got flooded. It's probably the storage 660 to 668 and some others. I go there everyday and I haven't seen any improvements since then. The puddles are still there since the heavy rain on Oct 1st until now. I already called their branch too to notify them. Rohan and Jafer were SENSATIONAL. Customers service like no other, I would highly recommend going to them over anyone else!
If you want to have your stuff dry - DO NOT RENT HERE. Water is leaking from the ceiling inside the storage unit and the management don’t act!! My storage unit was full of water TWICE. I called and reported but they just don’t care, they advice to change to another storage unit that just also leaks. They recently removed protective layer over the storage unit so now all water comes straight to your belongings. Worst customer support ever.
