Lukasz was fantastic, professional, friendly and very helpful. The set up was quick and easy and the price is reasonable.
Place is a joke. They put the price up every few months, not by a few pounds - im talking 50-70 pound jumps at a time, more sometimes - under the guise of 'maintaining service levels' - what service? - the light in your unit stops working they say 'actually we dont sell lighting - we sell storage sorry.' Place is a mess a lot of the time and on top of all of that, the electronic doors to get in and out are very temperamental which means you have to waste time to wait for them to open it, which if they are not around or are ... read more
Terrible Experience – Security Breach and Poor Management Our storage unit at Shurgard was broken into after thieves entered through the roof tiles. This incident affected numerous customers, yet the company tried to conceal what happened instead of being transparent. The manager was completely unhelpful, rude, and incompetent when we asked for information or assistance. Above and beyond her role. Siohban who works at Shurgard Chingford deserves a massive shout out. Over the last 2+ months she repeatedly connected in writing and on the phone to support the resolution of an ongoing issue with myself and Shurgard due to my sudden ill health. Although on leave she left clear instructions with her colleague to make contact and provide guidance, support to minimise my impending business disruption which would have been devastating.
