Lovely! U can just with the app on a phone open any door and gates, u don’t even need to ask for any help. Really cool. My first experience there. Had trouble with my booking and few times it got cancelled even I already payed😂 but overall I am happy!. The only sad thing - u should pay 14£ for locker, because any others won’t fit. And as well it’s a type of locker which u can’t use anywhere else. Didn’t like it
Best self storage place by far, and Gareth is the most resourceful, knowledgeable and helpful person I have come across. This particular Shurgard branch at Purley Way is recently built with a great modern design and secure layout with very good security, modern ventilation and bright lighting, and is much better than any other branch I have seen from any storage company. Reviewing in hopes that Azeez's boss will see this and give him a raise because he literally saved the day today. I've gotten very little sleep the past few nights and accidentally booked a unit in the wrong Reading location. This would have been a huge problem, as I have to be out of my flat by tomorrow at noon. Azeez rebooked me for the correct location and helped me get a larger unit, which my partner had recommended. Awful experience – lost time and money I booked and paid for a storage unit online and received multiple confirmations with access codes the day before my move. When I arrived with my moving company, the gate wouldn’t open. The next day I found out my booking had been cancelled because I hadn’t sent proof of address – something they only asked for after taking my payment.
