I had a great experience renting a storage unit here. Tim was super friendly and helpful from the start. He made the whole process quick and smooth, no stress at all. Really appreciated how easy everything was. Would definitely recommend!
It was so lovely to meet Tim! We were so worried to use the self storage for the first time and had a lot of questions. Tim welcomed us warmly and invited on a great tour around the building. He explained in detail how the security works, as well as the app. We were able to choose the best size and felt happy with the moderate monthly price. I've been to better self storages. This one you can't enter with the code they give you - they've removed all keypads - so you're forced to download and app that also doesn't work half the time. There's no one there to support you and there aren't nearly enough trolleys to cary everyone's stuff. The lifts are dodgy too, but I guess ultimately they do the job. Overall, I've seen better.
I have to give a special shout out to Badmus who was so helpful and friendly when showing me around to choose a unit and whenever I've seen him since ☺️ 5* for Badmus The unit itself is a unit. The toilets close when the staff go home which is annoying and the lifts are small when compared to other Shurgards and there seems to be a lack of trolleys (although perhaps people are keeping them in their units) other Shurgards are better in a number of aspects but it does the job.
Badmus at deptford is a star! so helpful, informative & generous w his time. overall an excellent experience when i needed storage! highly recommend deptford shurgard!!
