Nadia was very helpful in showing us different units and sizes .we will definitely go to one of them once we have finalised our move in date. She was very supportive in helping us setting up the app also very patient as our network was erratic at that time.
I’ve had a disappointing experience with Shurgard UK. While the facility is marketed as secure, I observed behaviour on multiple visits that made me question how strictly access and usage rules are enforced, which raised concerns about proper monitoring of the site. On top of this, the pricing is extremely high, my unit was very small, roughly the size of a small toilet cabinet, yet cost around £200 per month, which I consider excessive and poor value for money. AVOID this place at all costs — especially if you are a person of colour!!! 😡😡😡 I arrived 5 minutes after closing and did NOT enter the building. The next morning, the staff threatened me with a £100 penalty for just wandering around the gate. Also, this penalty does not exist anywhere in their contract — she simply invented it. My friend (who is Black) and I were treated like criminals just for standing near the gate. I'd have liked to leave a 5 stars review, but this storage place has too many problems. First, the cost is going through the roof. I've rented for 3 years and the price has increased by 35% in that period, despite none of the issues being fixed. Second, there is a huge mice problem in the building, with mice dropping visible even outside storage units.
