have to put a formal complain about the staff and handling of an issue. absolutely no sense of customer service and completely unskilled staff as a front face of the company. No skill of communication or negotiations. If you are a business customer and need a storage facility would certainly not recommend in Gillingham Kent area.
I needed a 50sq foot storage unit and tried all the local companies. They all promised they could price match with Shurgard however after sending the quote, they told me they couldn't get anywhere near the Shurgard quotes. I ended up going with Shurgard and the price is real. First visit was just before closing time on a Thursday but this was no issue, the staff member showed me to the unit, showed me how everything works, answered questions, was very helpful.
Positive experience: had to move house in emergency and this storage was very helpful no hassle of filling up countless amount of paperwork they do it for you and first 8 weeks (2 months) it’s discounted price storage so make sure after this you take your stuff or you will be double charged but that’s your responsibility.
