I am on the ground floor and have found increasing evidence of rodent droppings and pee - both the sight and smell of which has left me rather concerned. I have raised the issue and was offered an alternative unit higher up, but no compensation for the time and effort to move. In fact, on the contrary, they have increased the monthly rent by £20, in order to "maintain high standards". I will certainly be moving my items elsewhere as I am no longer satisfied with the standard.

Today I became a customer of Shurgard in Greenford. I was pleasantly surprised, in five minutes I managed to do everything I needed to store my things in a safe place. I don't remember the name of the man who works at the reception, but he is a professional in his field, well done, I thank you very much. I would also like to add that this place is very easy to get to by car. The storage facilities are clean and dry. I recommend using the services of Shurgard.
