Very clean and well sized! definitely best price in the market; I am using a 65sqft unit. I found super easy to deal with the contract thing, and the info about it very honest.
This is my first time using Shurgard and the customer service was great and the extremely polite. I found it quite easy to get my stuff stored and leave. Also, having the app was very easy to use as well. The best part was them phoning me a day after my storage date to ask if it all went smoothly and extending their service in case I have anymore questions. Lastly, their suggestion on the size of unit I needed was spot on!
Good company to do business with, helpful and friendly staff, and they're refreshingly very straightforward on pricing and competitive in the area. However, the Shurgard app needs significant improvement, as it regularly times out while you're inside the building (which has no phone signal) and then you're stuck unless you know your PIN as well. The lifts at this building are really slow too.
Staff were initially welcome and helpful. Unit was clean and easy to access, though the phone app access can be temperamental. My only issue was that my rate was raised substantially after 6 months with no notice (they allegedly sent a letter in the post which never arrived and no notice was ever sent by email, text message, or through the app to confirm). I have used a few other storage companies nearby and quite a few around London in the 12 years since I moved here. Shurgard is my preferred one by quite some way. I like their custom locks better than using my own padlock, the sites are well-maintained and much cleaner in comparison to other storage places I have used. The app is very intuitive. In general I feel confident leaving my belongings with them. Usman was very helpful in opening my new unit at Greenwich. No complaints.
